OKCBiz magazine recently announced QuiBids as a finalist in its “Best Places to Work in Oklahoma” competition.  The Best Places to Work in Oklahoma program honors the state’s best employers.

Recently, QuiBids employees were engaged in a simple yet thorough assessment from the third-party surveyor, Best Companies Group.  The results of the assessment are used to produce detailed sets of data which is then used to rank QuiBids amongst the other finalist for the award.  

Much like the way QuiBids provide its customers with a unique and entertaining avenue for shopping online, we also strive to provide our employees with a fun and innovative atmosphere in the work place.  We believe that in order to provide the greatest value for our customers, all employees must possess a similar passion for providing the best possible customer experience when using our site.  If our employees’ passion is truly genuine, then the value will undoubtedly trickle down to the customers.

Bunpig Penny Auction Site Launches April 22, 2011

The long awaited BunPig Penny Auction revamp is finally finished.  We have new graphics, new database design, faster servers, and better code all done in-house.  This has been a major endeavor and we hope you’ll like it as much as we do.

Last night we migrated all the important data from the old database to our new database.  This will provide much faster action on the website plus all sorts of improved referral tracking, charity contribution tracking, etc.

However, all the previously registered bidders need to log in and update some of their information.   Although it is not necessary, you can now set your time zone.  That will make it so any auctions you put on the Watch List show the time in your local time instead of in our server’s time zone.  Our new charity software will allow everyone to choose which charity their Bid-Pack Purchases benefit.

Lastly, we did not like the old way the passwords were tracked in the database.  So everyone will need to reset their password (we figured it had been long enough that many people had forgotten theirs anyway).  So click the following link and enter your email address.  If you were in our BunPig system before, it will email you a custom URL to reset your password.

As promised, we have given all our VIP bidders that still had bids in the BunPig system a 10% interest on their bids… rounded up to the nearest bid.  You’ll find this in your new Bid Credits listing.

We recommend everyone hop on the site and update their info over the next couple days.  Our new auctions will be on this upcoming Friday, and trust us you’ll want to be ready!
